2 Customer Responsibilities
2.1 Responsibilities of the Purchaser/Customer
To ensure that the installation of an Innova System meets the purchaser or customer
expectations, it is important to determine who will take responsibility for the various items during
the system installation process. To help you in determining these responsibilities, review the
following checklists with the customer and assign responsibilities as appropriate:

Contract Changes:
Be sure to inform the customer that the cost of any alteration or modification not specified in the
sales contract are liable to the customer.
The following GE-supplied equipment must be installed by the Hospital's Contractors, per room
drawings:

PDB (Electrical Power Distribution Box or
•
Frontal Gantry & Table baseplate hole drilling (Per supplied template)
•
Lateral Gantry Suspension stationary rails (centered on Frontal Gantry/table floor template)
•
LCD Monitor suspension stationary rails
•
Lateral Gantry cable drape rail(s)
•
Frontal Gantry baseplate grout
•
Frontal Gantry baseplate
•
Table baseplate (if applicable)
NOTE:
For systems with Fluoro UPS CE cabinet only: It is the customer responsibility to
install a fire extinguisher (non-water type, ex. CO2) in the technical room, close to the
Fluoro UPS CE cabinet location.
