Setting of Photo mode

This describes the image quality setting when [PHOTO] is set.

Press the Scan key.
The machine switches to the scan mode.

Press the Density key.

Use the */) key to adjust density.
% Pressing the * key reduces density. Pressing the ) key increases density.

Press the OK key to display the scan screen that shows the density corresponding to the adjusted den-
sity.
% If density is adjusted to the left of the midpoint, the scan screen is displayed darker on the left-hand
side. If density is adjusted to the right of the midpoint, the scan screen is displayed darker on the
right-hand side.
Tips
The factory default is set at the midpoint.
