Sets the initial value for the scan setting items

Initial value for image quality (resolution), file format, compression coding method, and color setting can be
changed for making transmission using Scan to E-mail, Scan to Server, Scan to Mobile, and Scan to USB.
5.5.1

Setting of image quality (resolution)

Press the Utility key.

Use the +/, key to select [SCAN SETTING], then press the OK key.

Use the +/, key to select [RESOLUTION], then press the OK key.

Use the +/, key to select resolution.
% Resolution can be selected for [150 e 150 dpi], [300 e 300 dpi], [600 e 600 dpi].

Press the OK key.
The screen returns to the Scan Settings screen.

Setting file format

Press the Utility key.

Use the +/, key to select [SCAN SETTING], then press the OK key.

Use the +/, key to select [IMAGE FORMAT], then press the OK key.

Use the +/, key to select file format.
% The file format can be selected from [TIFF], [PDF], or [JPEG].

Press the OK key.
The screen returns to the Scan Settings screen.

Setting compression coding method

This item is displayed only when [BW] is selected for the color setting.

Use the +/, key to select [SCAN SETTING], then press the OK key.

Use the +/, key to select [BW CODING METHOD], then press the OK key.

Use the +/, key to select compression coding method.
% Compression coding method can be selected from [MH], [MR], or [MMR].
