Assembling the Base Plate

The fire pits are shipped with an attached main base plate, but an additional 4-piece base plate kit is required to
complete the firepit and determine the shape (round or square) (see page 10 for part numbers). A base plate kit
MUST be used for all installations.
Follow the steps below to assemble the fire pit burner assembly for installation.

Each of the secondary base plates are marked with a letter A through D. These letters correspond with letters on
each of the (4) sides of the main base plate. Make sure that the letters match when installing the secondary
base plates to the main base plate.

There are brackets attached to each of the secondary base plate sections. Align the brackets with the notches in
the main base plate (see illustration below).

Push the secondary base plates up against the main base plate until there is no gap between them.

Secure the secondary base plates to the main base plate. Use a 7/16" ratchet or nut driver to tighten the nuts on
the underside of the brackets to secure the plates.

Repeat the same steps with the other secondary base plate panel.
