LP Conversion Steps – Cont.
4. Remove and replace the NG burner orifice with
the correct LP orifice (see chart above).
Unscrew the NG orifice from the appliance
adapter.
Apply appropriate thread sealant to the
threads of the LP burner orifice.
Screw the LP orifice into the appliance
adapter.
6. Use a 1/4" nut driver to remove the screw that
secures the air shutter to the mixing tube.

5. Reinstall the appliance adapter and orifice
assembly into the mixing tube
7. Slide the air shutter open until the previously
unused hole is in line with the hole in the mixing
tube. Reinstall the screw removed in the
previous step to secure the air shutter to the
mixing tube.
8. Reattach the gas flex to the appliance adapter.
Make sure to check this connection to make sure
there is no gas leak after installation.
