Maintaining Your Appliance

!
Failure to inspect and maintain may lead to malfunctioning of the appliance
and potentially dangerous situations.
Inspect the appliance prior to each use.
Keep the appliance clean and remove any debris that collects in or on the appliance. Inspect for
spiders and insects, they may clog burner ports or air inlets and need to be removed before use.
Have the appliance inspected by a qualified service technician annually.
The stainless-steel burner top will discolor – this is normal.

Accessing the Pilot Components

Disconnect power before attempting maintenance or repair.
The pilot components are located under the slotted protective cover and are accessible from the top of
the burner tray. To access the components, follow the steps below.
Remove any media covering
the pilot access panel. Use a
1/4" nut driver to remove the
(2) screws that secure the pilot
cover and access panel (set
the screws and access panel
aside for reinstallation).
To remove the pilot
components, use a 1/4" nut
driver to remove the screw
that secures the ignitor to the
pilot bracket. Use an 11/32"
nut driver to remove the nut
that secures the thermopile
bracket to the pilot assembly.
Once maintenance or testing of components is complete, follow the above steps in reverse to return
the appliance to its proper configuration.
