Chapter a-Display Configuration
SELECTING UNITS
SELECTING UNITS
The UNITS key allows you to select the horizontal and vertical units and enter trace titles. As
with coordinates, changing the units does not alter or destroy any measurement data. Press
UNITS to display the following menu:

P SPEC
Displays the power spectrum units menu, which sets the
UN ITS
units for power and cross spectrum displays. See ' 'The
Power Spectrum U nits Menu" following this menu.
L SPEC
Displays the linear spectrum units menu, which set the
UNITS
units for Inear spectrum displays. See "The Linear Spec·
trum Units Menu" following thiS menu.
SWEPT
Displays the swept units menu, which sets the units for
UN ITS
power and cross spectrum displays in the swept sine
mode, See " The Swept Units Menu" following this menu.
Hz
Selects Hertz (or seconds for time domain traces) as the
hOrizontal unit. This softkey does not apply to amplitude
domain displays.
RPM
Selects RPM (or seconds for time domain traces) as the
(Sec)
horizontal unit The X-axis is scaled in seconds in the time
domain. This softkey does not apply to amplitude domain
displays.
Orders
Selects orders (or revolutions for time domain traces) as
(Revs)
