USTOMIZING YOUR PHONE
The Brightness Timer option allows you to set the amount of time you want the LCD display to stay illu-
minated before turning the backlight off during a period of inactivity. For example, if you set the brightness
timer to 60, when the phone reaches 60 seconds of inactivity, the LCD backlight goes off.
Backlight timer/mode can be configured using the configuration files and the IP Phone User Interface (UI).
Setting the Brightness Level and Timer Using the IP Phone UI
Press on the phone to enter the Options List.

Navigate to the Display option and press the select button or Select softkey.

Press the down navigation key twice to highlight Brightness Level.

Use the left and right navigation buttons to increase or decrease the intensity of brightness on the

Press the down navigation key to highlight Brightness Timer.

Enter a value, in seconds, using the dialpad keys. You can set the timer from 1 to 36000 seconds.

The Live Dialpad option on the IP phone turns the live dialpad mode on or off. With the live dialpad
feature enabled, the 6920 IP phone automatically dials out and turns on handsfree mode as soon as a
dialpad key or softkey is pressed. With live dialpad disabled, if you dial a number while the phone is
