Erasing button programming
The programmed buttons cannot be erased indi-
vid ually. They must all be erased toget her . Re-
p rogram the but t ons if necessary .

door opener > Clear program settings > Yes.

- Programming th rough the MMI* is not pos-
s ible wit h all infotainment systems. If this
is the case, program the buttons as descri -

cle in view when do ing t his.
- Aft er progra m ming th e g arag e door ope ner,
it may be necessary to synchronize the mo -
tor with the system . Refer to the ma nuf ac-
turer's instructions.

des that were set at the facto ry and does not
need t o be repea t ed again t o prog ram the
othe r but tons .
3. Briefly press t he but ton on t he roof head liner
t hat you wo uld like to pr ogra m.
4 . Wai t until th e LED@ be gins t o blink qu ickly.
Programming mode is active for 5 minutes.
5 . Move in front of your veh icle while holding
t he or igina l remote cont rol for the system
t hat wou ld like to program to a button in the
roof headliner.

6. Hold the remote control up to t he radiator
grille on your vehicle

7. Press and hold the remote control unt il the
tu rn signals on your veh icle blink . This may
t ake up to 30 seconds .
8 . If t he eme rge ncy fl ashers b link t hree ti m es,
t he progr a mm ing was s uccessfu l. If t he
emergency fl as hers only blink one t ime, t he
5 m inute time limit for the prog ramming has
ended or the prog ramming was not success-
ful. Repeat the prog ramming from t he third
step, or try chang ing the distance to the radi-
ator g rille.
