ON SCREEN MENU (PREVIEW FEATURE NOT YET IMPLEMENTED)

Initial release does not include the On Screen portion of the menu system. All function feedback is
provided on the 16 character front panel display screen. Please substitute Front Panel display for On
Screen menu for this section.
Use the SETUP button to access the On Screen Menu. You are presented with the following options.

GENERAL

MATTE
DSK
TRANSITION
PRESET
Each of the above options are outlined in the following section with in depth descriptions of
functionality.
3.1.
GENERAL
Safe Area: Use this control to toggle the Safe Area markers on or off. The Safe Area markers are only
viewable on the Preview Output.
Select Standard: Select the desired video standard by using the up down arrow keys to highlight the
appropriate choice. The choices are:
1080i/60
1080p/30
1080p/30sF
1080i/50
1080p/25
1080p/25sF
1080p/24
1080p/24sF
1035i/60
720p/60
Video standard variations of 59.94 or 60 will automatically be detected by the internal circuitry.
Similarly 23.98 and 24 will also be detected. Please select the appropriate 60 or 24 video standard.
Update Code: This control displays the current firmware version in the DSK. You can also put the
DSK in receive mode when you need to upgrade the flash programmable chip inside the box. Refer to
Firmware Upgrade section of this manual.
This menu also contains options for displaying the Boot Code version.
