When cutting at any position
With the printer cover closed, look inside the
printer as you hold down
cutting position reaches the dotted line in the
illustration.
Note:
The minimum length of paper you can cut with
the built-in cutter is set to 80 or 127 mm. The
necessary length differs depending on the paper
type and cannot be changed. If the necessary
length has not been reached, paper is fed
automatically leaving a margin. Use a
commercially available cutter to remove the
unnecessary margin.

Touch Cut.
Press the Cut button to cut using the built-in
cutter.
Cutting with commercially available
scissors
If you are using commercially available paper that
cannot be cut cleanly with the printer's cutter, then
print a cut line and cut it with your own scissors.

Important:
Do not use your own cutter. Doing so could
damage the printer.

Before printing, set it not to cut automatically.
To print cutting guidelines, set the printer's auto
cut to off. When printing from the printer
driver, turn the printer driver setting to off also.

In the home screen, press
Settings-Auto Cut-Off

After printing is complete, press

When printing a cutting guideline at the
printer's default position (immediately after
the bottom margin)

. The screen for selecting to cut or to
print a cutting guideline is displayed.
When printing a cutting guideline at any
position
With the printer cover closed, look inside the
printer as you hold down

You cannot print cutting guidelines inside the
bottom margin. When the paper has finished
moving, press
