Harness Pads

• Do not attempt to permanently remove harness
pads.
• Harness pads MUST be used with children weighing
22 - 50 lbs (10 – 22.7 kg) rear-facing and 22- 65 lbs
(10 – 29.4 kg) forward-facing except for lap belt
only (Type 1) forward-facing installation the harness
pads must be stored for children under 25 lbs (11.3
kg).
• Harness pads may be used for children under 22 lbs
(10 kg) rear-facing when proper positioning can be
achieved.
Storing Harness Pads
1. Loosen the harness.
a. Lift harness release
button.
b. Pull both harness
straps forward.
2. Unfasten the harness
pad from around the
harness strap and then
fasten the harness
pad. Repeat on the
other side.
3. Pull forward the cover
and route the harness
pad behind the head
restraint cover. Repeat
on the other side.
4. Tuck the harness pad
on the outside of the
head restraint. Repeat
on the other side.
