DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.
Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the
written instructions. Keep the instructions with the child
• Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could
result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
• Use only in a rear-facing position when using it with an
infant weighing less than 22 lbs (10 kg).
• Use only with children who weigh between 5 and 65
pounds (2.3 and 29.4 kg) and whose height is 49 inches
(124.5 cm) or less.
• Snugly adjust the belts provided with this child restraint
around your child.
• Secure the top anchorage strap provided with this child
restraint.
• Secure this child restraint with the vehicle's child restraint
anchorage system, if available, or with a vehicle belt.
• Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the
written instructions located in the pocket behind the
cover.
• Register your child restraint with the manufacturer.
• Use rear-facing for children who weigh between 5 and
50 lbs (2.3 and 22.7 kg). Use forward-facing for children
who weigh between 22 and 65 lbs (10 and 29.4 kg).
• Do not attempt to permanently remove harness pads.
• Harness pads MUST be used with children weighing 22
- 50 lbs (10 – 22.7 kg) rear facing and 22- 65 lbs (10 –
29.4 kg) forward facing except for lap belt only (Type 1)
forward facing installation the harness pads must be
stored for children under 25 lbs (11.3 kg).
• Harness pads may be used for children under 22 lbs
(10 kg) rear facing when proper positioning can be
achieved.
• The upper body support pillow MAY be used with children
weighing 5-20 lbs (2.3- 9 kg) rear-facing. DO NOT use
upper body support pillow with children weighing over
20 lbs (9 kg) rear-facing.
• DO NOT use upper body support pillow in a forward
facing position, except it MUST be used for lap belt only
(Type 1) installation forward-facing under 25 lbs (11.3 kg).
• The provided lower infant insert MUST be used for
children weighing 22 lbs (10 kg) or less in a rear-facing
position. Do not use over 22 lbs (10 kg) or in a forward-
facing position.
• Use the buckle slot closest to, but not underneath, your
child when installing the child restraint.
• Britax strongly recommends that children should remain
in a child restraint with a 5-point harness until reaching
the maximum weight or height allowed.
