11. Ensure both gray
ClickTight release
buttons are visible.
NOTE: If it is difficult to
close you may have
removed too much
slack.
12. Attach the tether hook
to the vehicle's tether
anchor (check the
vehicle owner's manual
for location).
13. Pull the loose tether
strap end to remove
slack and secure
excess webbing with
the elastic strap
attached.
Forward-Facing
Installation with Lap Belt
Only (Type 1)
9 Recline indicator is completely within the green
dashed lines for forward-facing, after child is
secured.
9 Child restraint cannot be moved front to back or
side to side more than 1" (2.5 cm) at the belt path.
9 Lap Belt is routed through the type 1 guide and
ClickTight.
9 The tether is secured and excess webbing is
contained and secured within your vehicle.
9 White dashed line is not visible on the base.
9 Car seat base MUST be flat on vehicle seat and MUST
be parallel to vehicle seat.
9 Harness pads are stored and upper body support
pillow is used for children weighing 22-25 lbs
(10- 11.3 kg) forward facing.
NOTE: If the child restraint does not meet the above
criteria, repeat the installation steps or use a different
seating location in your vehicle.
