1. Recline the unoccupied
child restraint to
appropriate position
(see page 17 ).
2. Place child restraint
rear-facing on the
vehicle seat so that the
car seat base is flat and
parallel to the vehicle
seat.
NOTE: Ensure that no
more than 3" (7.5 cm)
of the base hangs over
the edge of the vehicle
seat (see page 12).
3. Open the ClickTight.
a. Lift the front
cover flap.
b. Squeeze the
ClickTight
release buttons.
4. Slide both the lap and
shoulder parts of the
vehicle belt into the
rear-facing belt paths.
5. Buckle the vehicle belt.
NOTE: Ensure the vehicle
belt is not twisted.
6. Remove slack from the
lap part (a), then the
shoulder part (b) of the
vehicle belt.
