Rear-Facing Installation

Child Fit

Britax strongly recommends that children ride rear-
facing to the highest weight or height specified.
Britax recommends a child with no head and neck
control be in the most reclined position.
Use rear facing:
• with children who weigh
5 – 50 lbs (2.3 – 22.7 kg); and
• with harness straps in the
closest position below the
child's shoulders; and
• when the top of the child's
head is at least 1" (2.5 cm)
below the top of the head
restraint.
IMPORTANT:
weighing above 22 lbs (10 kg) rear facing.
IMPORTANT:
used for children weighing 22 lbs (10 kg) or less in a
rear-facing position. Do not use over 22 lbs (10 kg) or in
a forward-facing position.
The ReboundReduce
bar may be used for rear-
facing installations.
Follow the instructions on page
20 to attach the stability bar
to the child restraint before
installing.

Lap-Shoulder Belt Installation

(Preferred Method)
NOTE: The ClickTight replaces the need for a
locked/switched vehicle belt retractor. Locking/
switching the lap-shoulder belt retractor can
be done after you follow the install instructions
included herein if desired. If the lap-shoulder belt
retractor has been locked, please refer to the
us.britax.com/faqs to uninstall the car seat.
