Before Lighting a Gas Burner
Make sure all grates on the range are in
place beK_re using any burner
If your range has tile Range i,ock-Out
feature, make sure it is disabled before
attempting to light the smf_ce burne_.
After Lighting a Gas Burner

How to Light a Gas Surface Burner
Push the control knob in and turn it to

You will hear a clicking noise--die

of the electric spark igniting the burner
After the flame lights, mrn the knob to
adjust the flame size. If the knob stays at
tirE, it will continue to click.
When one burner is turned to tirE, all
file burners spark. Do not attempt to
disassemble or clean around any burner

How to Select Flame Size
Forsafehandling of cookware, neverlet theflames
extend up thesidesof thecookware.
Watch tlle flame, not die knob, as you
reduce heat. Tile flame size on a gas
burner should match tile cookware
you are using.
Any flame larger dlan tile bottom of tile
cookware is wasted and only serves to heat
tile handle.
