How to Belay the Start of Cleaning

cleaning small, contained spills. A

of 4 hours or longer
is recommended for a dirtier oven.

If a time other than 4 hours or
3 horns is needed, use the number
pads and enter the deshed clean
[ilIle.
You can change die clean dine to any
time between 3 hours (2½ horns on some
models) and 5 hom_, depending on how
dirty your oven is.

[_] Using the number pads, enter the
time of day you want the clean cycle
to start.
The door locks automadcNly: The display
will show the start time. It will not be
possible to open the oven door until
the temperature drops below the lock

goes off.

be able to open the door

Touch the START pad.
After a Clean Cycle
You may notice some white ash in tlle
oven. Wipe it up with a damp clod1 arier
tile oven cools.
If white spotsremain, r emove themwith a soap-
filledorplasticscouring pad andrinsethoroughly
with a vinegar a nd watermixture.
These deposits are usually a salt residue
that cannot be removed by the clean
cycle.
If tile oven is not clean alter one clean
cycle, repeat the cycle.
}_ You cannot set the oven for cooldng
until tlle oven is cool enough for the
door to unlock.
While die oven is self:cleaning, you can
touch the CIOCKpad to display the
time of day. To return to the clean
countdown, touch
tile SELFCLEAN
$TD/LOW or SELFCLEAN LOW/$TD pad.
If file racks become
hard to slide,
apply a small amount of cooldng
oil to
a paper towel and wipe die edges of die
oven racks widl die paper towel.
NOTE: Onmodels with RangeLock-Out,
touchand hold the RANGE LOCK-OUTpad
for 3 seconds to turn it oK
