06 OPERATION

06.1.

Transport and storage

Before transporting the device, make sure that it is correctly packaged.
Transport with a crane (high load)
Thread tapes through the upper platform for its transport (as
shown in graphs). Transport the load levelled following all the
precepts and regulations for the transport of suspended
loads.
Transport with forklift
Place a pallet or flat surface under the rail and transport
transversally. Do not load the rail directly on the forklift without
a pallet or flat support surface. Do not load the rail
longitudinally on the forklift if you do not have a sufficiently
long base. Each rail has been thoroughly inspected upon
leaving the factory. To ensure that it has not been damaged
during transport, please carefully inspect the exterior and
interior, and if you find any damage, immediately notify the
Promeba or the authorized distributor. For a correct transport
operation, the rail box must be levelled.
To unpack the device, place the box on a flat, stable surface
and carefully remove the packing tape. Remove the device
from the inside of the case carefully to prevent shocks to the
device. Please retain the original packaging for use in case of any other transportation and
for storage.
Product damage caused during shipping and handling is not covered by the warranty. Repair
or replacement of damaged parts is the responsibility of the customer.
The device should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. It must not be in
contact with substances or chemical agents that may cause damage and reduce its safety
performance.
The storage temperature must be between -20ºC to 40ºC.
The product must not be manipulated in any way (modification, adjustment, addition,
substitution). In such cases, all responsibility for any malfunction or injury caused by the
product itself will be disclaimed; furthermore, CE certification and product warranty will be
considered void.
