Each product incorporates an identification label, placed on the device itself and/or on the
original packaging of the product. It must never be removed or covered. This label includes
the data of the company which produced the device (

The UDI-PI code is made up of the following fields:
- (01)08437001519781: UDI code of the product.
- (11)230805: it gives information about the batch release date of the product following
the format aammdd, where aa is the batch release year, mm is the month of the batch
release and dd is the day of the batch release.
- (21)01233123001: identifies the serial number of the product giving information about
the manufacturing order (0123) including the week when the product was produced
(3123) and a correlative number depending on the units that has been produced in
that production order (001).
