06 OPERATION
Before the installation inside the ambulance:
- Ensure that the vehicle in which you want to install the device, is manufactured in
compliance with EN 1789.
- Check that the ambulance is capable to store the stretcher support, allowing its
movements in all directions in case the device incorporates movements.
- The installation floor is perfectly flat. Non-flat surfaces or parts of the floor that are not
perfectly levelled could compromise the correct operation of the product.
- The distance between the ambulance door and the end of the rail is respected. Failure
to respect this distance could interfere with the movements of the device with
consequences for your safety.
Below are details of each of the anchor points where the rail must be fixed to the floor of the
ambulance:
