INSTALLATION
LOCATION
Location of the equipment is important to achieve proper performance
and normal operating life .
The VS-656DC3 units should be installed in
areas where the following conditions exist .
Never move, lift or handle the VS-656DC3 cabinet by front cover or
terminal stands .
Lift the cabinet from bottom .
Ambient temperature : -10 to +45 0 C, +14 to 113 0 F
Protected from rain or moisture .
Protected from direct sunlight .
Protected from corrosive gases or liquids .
Free from airborne dust or metallic particles .
Free from vibration .
Free from magnetic noise .
To house multiple VS-656DC3 in a switchgear, install a cooling fan or
some other means to cool the air entering the inverter below 45 C
(113 0 F) .
MOUNTING SPACE
Install VS-656DC3 vertically and allow sufficient space for effective
cooling as shown in Fig. 1 .
