Basic function
The basic function for Forward Collision-
Avoidance Assist is warned and con-
trolled by the following level.

僅 Stopping vehicle and ending brake

A: Collision Warning
The warning message and an audible
warning will sound and the steering
wheel will vibrate (if equipped) to warn
the driver of a collision.
Collision Warning will operate under the
following conditions depending on the
collision risk level, target, and your driv-
ing speed:
僅 Vehicle: approximately 6~124 mph
(10~200 km/h)
僅 Pedestrian or cyclist: approximately
6~53 mph (10~85 km/h)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
Emergency braking

A: Emergency Braking
The warning message and an audible
warning will sound and the steering
wheel will vibrate (if equipped) to warn
the driver that emergency braking will
be assisted. The brake assist will be acti-
vated and it may help avoid a collision
with a vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist.
Emergency Braking will be activated in
following conditions depending on the
target and the level of risk.
