Features of your vehicle
Immobilizer indicator light (with
smart key)
This indicator light appears for
up to 30 seconds:
僅 When the vehicle detects the smart
key in the vehicle with the EV button
in the ACC or ON position.
- Once the smart key is detected, you
can start the vehicle (READY indi-
cator ON).
- The indicator light goes off after
starting the vehicle (READY indica-
tor ON).
This indicator light blinks for a
few seconds:
僅 When the smart key is not in the vehi-
cle.
- At this time, you cannot start the
vehicle.
This indicator light appears for 2
seconds and goes off:
僅 If the smart key is in the vehicle and
the EV button is ON, but the vehicle
cannot detect the smart key.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
This indicator light blinks:
僅 When the battery of the smart key is
weak.
僅 When there is a malfunction with the
immobilizer system.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Warning and indicator lights
Turn signal indicator light
This indicator light blinks:
僅 When you turn the turn signal light on.
If any of the following occurs, there may
a malfunction with the turn signal sys-
tem.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected
by an authorized Kia dealer.
僅 The indicator light does not blink but
appears.
僅 The indicator light blinks more rapidly.
僅 The indicator light does not appear at
all.
Low beam indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the headlights are on.
High beam indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the headlights are on and in the
high beam position.
僅 When the turn signal switch is pulled
into the Flash-to-Pass position.
High Beam Assist indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When High Beam Assist is activated.
