Features of your vehicle
NOTICE
If the icy road warning light appears
while driving, you should drive more
attentively and safely refraining from
over-speeding, rapid acceleration, sud-
den braking or sharp turning, etc.
All Wheel Drive (AWD) warning
light
(if equipped)
This warning light appears:
僅 Once you set the EV button to the ON
position.
- It appears for approximately 3 sec-
onds and then goes off.
僅 When there is a malfunction with the
AWD.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected
by an authorized Kia dealer.

42.
Indicator lights
The indicator light indicates whether the
various functions are activated.
Ready indicator light (READY)
This indicator appears:
When the vehicle is ready to be driven.
僅 ON: Normal driving is possible.
僅 OFF: Normal driving is not possible, or
a problem has occurred.
僅 Blinking: Emergency driving.
When the ready indicator goes OFF or
blinks, there is a problem with the sys-
tem. In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Charging cable connection indi-
cator light
This indicator appears:
This indicator appears when the
charging cable is connected.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the EV button is in the ON posi-
tion.
- It appears for approximately 3 sec-
onds and then goes off.
僅 When there is a malfunction with the
ESC system.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
This indicator light blinks:
While the ESC is operating.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
OFF indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the EV button is in the ON posi-
tion.
- It appears for approximately 3 sec-
onds and then goes off.
僅 When you deactivate the ESC system
by pressing the ESC OFF button.
