4.5.1.1 Connecting float switch without ATEX
Mono float switch
If float switches are to be used to determine the fill level,
check whether the system is a Mono or a Duo system and
connect accordingly.
Connect the ends of the float switch cables to the terminals
(see "Fig. 1: Float switches Mono").
Several float switches (Duo)
Connect the ends of the float switch cables to the terminals
(see "Fig. 2: Float switches Duo").
Level sensor Mono/Duo (non-ATEX)
Connect the cable ends of the level sensor to the terminals (see "Fig. 3: Connecting the level sensor"). The connection of
level sensors is identical for both Mono and Duo systems.
Use KESSEL junction box (art. no. 28799) to lengthen the connection cable of the level sensor.
