9. Wurm CRA control panel

9.1 Description

The following use instructions refer to the cabinet case with built-in condensing unit which has a control panel
equipped with an electronic controller WURM model CRA.
This microprocessor based controller is equipped with an LED display designed for the management of refrigerating
units, display cabinets and showcases. The LED display contains 3 digits and a decimal point for reading both temper-
atures and parameter codes easily. The display contains a set of luminous icons that intuitively represent the status of
the unit. The controller is equipped with a 4-button keypad which activates/deactivates the main functions and stores/
modifies the working parameters. The main isolator switch switches the unit off and on.
9.2 Switch the unit off and on__________________________________________
To switch on the cabinet and enable its functions, turn on the main magnetothermal switch. When it is switched on,
the controller LED display will light up. To switch the unit off, move the lever to "OFF".
Attention: In some models, the compressor starts a few minutes after the unit is switched on.

9.3 Normal conditions of operation____________________________________

When the refrigerated cabinet is switched on, the controller will automatically manage the functioning of the condens-
ing unit to reach and keep the SET-POINT temperature. The set-point temperature is set at the factory as an average
value but it might be necessary to change this value to make the temperature more suitable to displayed products
(please refer to the information given in the product label). For the modification of the set point, refer to the following
chapter of this manual.
