The minimum clearances to combustible construction are listed below. In addition, access to the gas supply must be considered. -

Hearthstone Quality Home Heating Products, Inc ORION 16 Series 8900 The gas fireplace is shipped with a 3/8” tube OD (male) connection. The gas supply piping should have a separate gas shutoff valve and a 1/8” NPT plugged tapping upstream of the valve. The stove and its main control valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of that system at test pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa). -

Carefully pick up the glass and glass frame assembly by grasping the sides of the frame and using your thumbs and fingers to hold the glass in place within the gasket and frame.
