Appendix A: GenICam Commands
Description
Selects the operation for the selected file in the device. This
operation is executed when the File Operation Execute feature
is called.
Open Select the Open operation - executed by FileOperationExecute.
Close Select the Close operation - executed by FileOperationExecute.
Read Select the Read operation - executed by FileOperationExecute.
Write Select the Write operation - executed by FileOperationExecute.
Executes the operation selected by File Operation Selector on
the selected file.
Selects the access mode used to open a file on the device.
Select READ only open mode
Select WRITE only open mode
Defines the intermediate access buffer that allows the exchange
of data between the device file storage and the application.
Controls the mapping offset between the device file storage and
the file access buffer.
Controls the mapping length between the device file storage
and the file access buffer.
Displays the file operation execution status. (RO).
Success The last file operation has completed successfully.
An invalid parameter was passed to the last feature called.
WriteProtect Attempt to write to a read-only (factory) file.
FileNotOpen The file has not been opened yet.
FileTooBig The file is larger than expected.
FileInvalid The last file operation has completed unsuccessfully because
the selected file is not present in this camera.
For Read or Write operations, the number of successfully
read/written bytes is returned. (RO)
Represents the size of the selected file in bytes.
