Repair and Replacement Procedures
Removing and Replacing the Front Panel Group Assemblies
Replacing the Real Time Clock (RTC) Battery Located on the A3 Front
Panel Interface Board (FPIB)
The RTC battery is a Lithium-ion battery and must be disposed of properly.
IMPORTANT
Refer to
disposing of this battery .
A soldering tool is required for this procedure.
NOTE
1. Perform the steps under
2. Unsolder the RTC battery from the A3 FPIB.
3. Insert and solder the new RTC battery into place.

1. Reinstall the measurement group assemblies (RF top panel, A4 RF board, A5 system
board, and A6 SOM board) as one unit with the I/O panel attached. Refer to
