This tab shows the plant information with the values with
which it was created. Any field can be modified by pressing
the "Properties" button [ ], to the right of the plant title and
then, in the drop-down menu, by clicking the "Edit" button.
When the retailer changes its electricity rates, the price per
kWh must also be edited, for example.

In the "CO2 Emission Savings" section, the CO2 values
saved by using solar renewable energy are shown graphi-
cally. These values are measured in kg and are an approxi-
mation of the reduced amount of CO2 produced.
The savings in terms of CO2 emissions and their equiva-
lence in number of trees planted can be seen in the "Envi-
ronmental impact" section. In a conventional installation,
each kWh generated using fossil fuels generates green-
house gas emissions. These gases are classified as gases
with a "carbon footprint" and they are converted into an
equivalent in carbon dioxide (CO2). Therefore, the value
shown is the amount of CO2 emissions that an equiva-
lent fossil fuel system would have generated to produce
the energy that the system (plant) has generated with
renewable energy. On the other hand, trees, with their
ability to absorb CO2, are used in multiple reforestation
projects worldwide to counteract CO2 levels. Using re-
newable energy sources helps to reduce the level of CO2
that trees have to absorb. The number of trees displayed
would be equivalent to the new trees that would need to
be planted.
