11.2 Water connection

The water connection of the appliance is via the non-pressurised
tap. For this, observe the tap operating and installation instruc-
tions.
f First install the tap.
f Then connect the appliance to the tap.

!
The appliance may develop a leak and cease functioning.
f Never subject the appliance to water pressure.
f Never interchange the water connections.
Match up the colour coding on the tap water connections and the
appliance:
- Blue = cold water inlet
- Red = hot water outlet
Water connections
f For the cold water inlet: Connect the push-fit connector of the
tap to the cold water inlet of the HOT 2.6 N Premium.
f For the hot water outlet: Push the 7/16" hose of the tap onto
the nozzle of the hot water outlet on the HOT 2.6 N Premium
as far as it will go.
f Secure the connection by pushing on and securing the sup-
plied hose clip with a suitable tool.
Notice
Ensure that the water connections are not kinked during
installation. Prevent any tensioning during installation.

11.3 Electrical connection

WARNING Electrocution
Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.

!
The voltage specified on the type plate must match the
mains power supply.
f Observe the type plate.
The following electrical connections are permissible:
- Connection to a freely accessible standard safety socket with
matching plug.
12. Commissioning
WARNING Electrocution
Commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified
contractor in accordance with safety regulations.
Notice
During initial start-up and following prolonged power
supply interruptions (approx. 8 hours), you must set the
day of the week and the time.

12.1 Initial start-up

1.
f On the tap, open the draw-off valve for hot water. Observe
the tap instructions when doing so.
f Leave the draw-off valve open until water comes out without
bubbles (at least 3 minutes).
f Check the entire hydraulic installation for tightness.
f Insert the plug into the standard safety socket.
Notice
If you fail to follow the correct sequence (first water, then
power), the boil-dry protection check will respond.
