Cleaning, care and maintenance

f Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents. A damp
cloth is sufficient for cleaning the unit.
f Check the tap regularly. You can remove limescale deposits
at the outlet using commercially available descaling agents.
For descaling, remove the special aerator from the tap.

Flushing the appliance and tap

been set to standby for longer than one week, or has been
isolated completely from the power supply.

Only a qualified contractor should carry out installation, commis-
sioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.

below a height of 91 cm / 36" must be insulated because
of the risk of burns to children.

Hard water or water with a high mineral content can
damage the appliance. Damage to the appliance caused
by limescale or a high concentration of minerals is not
covered by the guarantee.
STIEBEL ELTRON recommends the use of an external filter
system in the cold water inlet of the HOT 2.6 N Premium.

This appliance must not be installed in a place where it
may be exposed to freezing temperatures (below 2 °C). If
the appliance may be exposed to freezing temperatures,
all the water must be drained from the appliance. Failure
to observe these instructions will void any warranty.
The appliance must be installed in an area where water
leakage from the appliance or its connections does not
damage the area adjacent to the appliance. If such a loca-
tion cannot be avoided, installation of a drain pan under
the appliance is recommended.
