Unpacking
Remove the packaging and ensure all components are included. If any components are

Cleaning
It is strongly recommended to clean the ice cube maker before first use. Unplug the ice
cube maker before cleaning.
• Remove the ice basket.
• Open the drain plug. Clean the interior with a soft cloth soaked with warm water. Rinse
with fresh water and drain.
• Clean the exterior of the ice maker with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild dishwashing
soap if necessary.
• Dry the interior and exterior of the ice maker with a clean, soft cloth.
Placement
Place the ice cube maker on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and other heat sources
(for example, stoves, radiators). Ensure there is at least a 15cm clearance around the ice
cube maker away from walls and other obstructions.
Allow one hour for the refrigerant liquid to settle before plugging the power cord into a
socket.
For subsequent uses, wait for at least 30 minutes to allow the fluids in the compressor to
settle after the ice cube maker is moved or transported.
Notes:
• Ensure the ice cube maker is positioned in way that the plug is accessible and
visible.
• If the ice cube maker is being brought from the outdoors during winter, allow for
a few hours for the appliance to warm to room temperature before plugging in.
