2.2. Installation

2.2.1 Mounting the Combi Heater

• It is recommended that the Combi Heater is placed on the floor nearest to the door.
• For safety and convenience, follow the minimum safety distances as provided in Figure 5
and follow the cubic volumes given in Figure 11 (Technical Data).
• Do not install the heater on a niche in the wall.
• Do not install more than one heater, unless, you follow the special instructions
for twin-heater installations.
• In most countries, there is a law that requires heaters to be screwed on the floor as
provided in Figure 4.

NOTE: Remove the packaging from the heating elements before installing the heater as it
is only intended to protect them during shipment. Make sure the Silica gel packs are still
attached to the packaging, as the purpose of those packs is to remove the moisture during
shipment.
• A Combi Heater, when used, is naturally hot. To avoid accidental contact with the
surface of the Combi Heater, it is necessary to affix a heater guard. Figure 5 shows the
minimum safety distances in installing heater guards.
