After rebooting the computer, connect the
printer to the computer with a USB cable�

Turn on the printer�

Operate the printer as follows�
For MK5000:
1)Press the [Connect] key.
2) Select "PC connect" and press the
[Enter] key.

The message "Waiting for data... " is displayed,
and the printer is ready to print from a
computer.

Open the printer folder and make sure
that the printer icon is displayed�
For Windows 11:
Select [Start] > [All apps] > [Windows Tools]
> [Control Panel] > [Hardware and Sound] >
[Devices and Printers].
For Windows 10:
Select [Start] > [Windows System Tools] >
[Control Panel] > [Hardware and Sound] >
[Devices and Printers].
For Windows 8�1:
Right-click [Start] > [Control Panel] > [View
Devices and Printers].
This completes the installation of the software.
NOTE
• On the MK5000, when using multiple units of this
product connected to a single computer, install
the printer driver once for each of those units. For
detailed instructions, refer to the User's Guide.
