Incorrect selection of type of protection

This device is approved for several types of protection.
1. Decide in favor of one type of protection.
2. Connect the device in accordance with the selected type of protection.
3. In order to avoid incorrect use at a later point, make the types of protection that are not used

Improvement of interference immunity
• Lay signal cables separate from cables with voltages > 60 V.
• Use cables with twisted wires.
• Keep the device and the cables at a distance from strong electromagnetic fields.
• Observe the communication conditions described in the section Technical specifications
(Page 61).
• Use shielded cable to guarantee the full specification according to HART.
