1 General Information

1.1 LRF: Laser Range Finder Module

The LRF 6742 is a very compact and versatile rangefinder module combining unsurpassed range
performance with outstanding robustness.
System integrators can select from two different versions:
 LRF 6742 without pointer (No. 918040)
 LRF 6742 LP with eye safe pointer (Part Number: 918041)

1.2 Main parts of a LRF Module

 A receiver (detector), containing electronics and a receiver diode.
 A transmitter (laser box) containing a 1550 nm laser diode and an optional 830 nm pointer
diode.
 A mainboard, which manages all electronic elements and calculates the results.
 Stable aluminium bench including optics.
