Error Messages
■ Drive Not Ready!
The disk drive is not yet ready. Please wait a moment.
■ Error Disc!
There is a problem with the hard disk or CD. The device or media in question cannot be used with the VS-2000. In the case of a
hard disk, you may be able to recover from this error by executing Drive Check. Please read "Drive Check" (Owner's Manual).
■ Event Memory Full!
The project already contains all of the events it can hold. Delete unneeded automix data or perform a Project Optimize
operation.
■ Exceeding limit of RSS PAN Channels!
You have reached the maximum number of channels for which RSS pan can be used.
■ Finalized CD!
The CD is a commercial CD or a CD-R/RW disc you have already finalized. Replace the disc with a blank disc or one that has
not yet been finalized.
■ Found Illegal Track Pair!
■ Found Illegal Phrase Pair!
You attempted to perform region/phrase editing (copy/move/exchange, etc.) between a CDR mode mastering V-track and a
conventional V-track. Please re-select the track(s).
■ Hardware Error!
There is a problem with the disk drive. Contact the disk drive's manufacturer or dealer.
■ Illegal Phrase Pair!
You attempted to perform region/phrase editing (copy/move/exchange, etc.) between a CDR mode mastering V-track and a
conventional V-track. Please re-select the track(s).
■ Illegal Phrase Belongs to rhythm Track or Destination Track is rhythm Track.
You attempted to perform phrase editing on tracks 17/18, which are functioning as rhythm tracks. Please re-select the track(s).
Alternatively, switch tracks 17/18 so they function as audio tracks.
■ Illegal Request!
This disk drive cannot be used by the VS-2000.
■ Illegal Track!
You attempted to execute Phrase New between a CDR mode mastering V-track (take) and a conventional V-track (take). Please
re-select the track(s).
■ Illegal Track! Select Track includes Rhythm Track.
You attempted to perform region editing on tracks 17/18, which are functioning as rhythm tracks. Please re-select the track(s).
Alternatively, switch tracks 17/18 so they function as audio tracks.
■ Illegal Track Pair!
You attempted to perform region/phrase editing (copy/move/exchange, etc.) between a CDR mode mastering V-track and a
conventional V-track. Please re-select the track(s).
■ Invalid Disc!
It is not the ISO9660 format CD.
■ Lack Of Event!
You have tried to undo or redo when the remaining number of free project events is less than 200. This operation cannot be
performed.
■ Lack of IDE Memory!
There is insufficient free space on the disk. Erase unneeded data or select a different disk drive. The current disk partition
already contains 200 projects, the maximum number of projects it can hold. Delete unneeded projects or select a different disk
drive.
■ MARKER Memory Full!
The project already contains 1000 markers, the maximum number it can hold. Delete unneeded markers.
■ Medium Error!
There is a problem with the disk drive media or CD. This disk cannot be used by the VS-2000. In some cases, data in the disk
drive can be recovered using the Drive Check operation.
■ Message Error!
There is a problem with your disk drive connection. Make sure the disk drive is connected correctly.
