Connections

Here's how to connect the UM-1 to your computer, a sound module or another MIDI
device.
* This package does not include a MIDI sound module or a MIDI keyboard. You will need to
provide your own, or purchase them separately.
* To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the
volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any connections

Connections with the MIDI Equipment

* Turn off the power of the computer, MIDI devices, and other peripherals before making
connections.
* Refer to the owner's manual of your computer and MIDI devices for more information on
setups.

Turn off the power of the computer, MIDI devices and the audio playback system to which
you will be making connections.
2.
Connect the UM-1's TO MIDI IN cable to the MIDI Sound module's MIDI IN connector.
