Silence detection parameters
Click on the "Silence detection" tab to set the criteria for silence detection on this program. An alarm is signalled when
silence is detected, and it is reset when signal is detected again.
Note that silence detection applies to the signal from the selected input (audio or MPX signal).
It is also possible to automatically stop/start the streaming upon silence/signal detection. This can be used to trigger the
switching to another decoding priority (backup) on the decoder.
This can be configured from the IP Service page (see next paragraph

Description
Name given to the encoding instance. This name will be selected when declaring
an IP service.
Source of the program.
Select Audio I/O to be able to select an analog audio source, or the MPX
AES192 input.
First input channel of the audio signal to be encoded, to be selected among the
list of input channels.
Note that for an MPX AES192 input, the MPX signal is on the left channel.
Mono, Stereo
For an MPX input, select Mono.
Frequency of the encoded signal, to be selected from the list box.
It may be different from the IQOYA core sampling frequency.
For MPX, frequency must be set to 192 kHz or 144 kHz, depending on the
sampling frequency value set from Preferences −> System −> Audio setup. Note
that 144 kHz can be used only for analog to analog MPX transport, in PCM.
For baseband audio, frequency must be set to 48 kHz.
Audio format of the encoding, to be selected from the list box.
For MPX, audio formats are PCM 12, 16, 20, 24 bits, or microMPX (optional).
Available choice for µMPX:
µMPX: microMPX with no FEC
µMPX + INBANDFEC_140_70 = +50% FEC (with 70 FEC frames
generated every 140 µMPX frames).
µMPX + INBANDFEC_128_42 = +33% FEC (with 42 FEC frames
generated every 120 µMPX frames).
µMPX + INBANDFEC_120_30 = +25% FEC (with 30 FEC frames
generated every 120 µMPX frames).
µMPX + INBANDFEC_100_10 = +10% FEC (with 10 FEC frames
generated every 100 µMPX frames).
For baseband audio, formats are PCM, AAC, MPEG L2/L3, Opus.
Bit rate of the encoded samples.
