5.1 Audio inputs and outputs

A
n MPX input receives the MPX signal to be encoded. It can be analog, or AES192. The selected source can be encoded in
PCM and in µMPX, and streamed to several destinations.
The MPX signal decoded from an IP MPX stream is available on the 2 analog MPX outputs and on the AES192 MPX output.
Audio inputs receive an analog audio signal to be encoded, typically to send an audio monitoring stream; the audio signal
decoded from a received IP audio stream is available from the two analog audio outputs.

5.2 Programs

On the encoding section of IQOYA X/LINK-MPX, a program is the encoding of one MPX input or two mono audio inputs or
one stereo audio input. A program is then defined by the following parameters:
the audio mode: mono, stereo. MPX is always mono.
the audio inputs that receive the signal to be encoded. The number of inputs is given by the audio mode. Stereo and
multi-channel modes refer to consecutive inputs.
the audio format: algorithm, bitrate, sampling frequency.
to configure the inputs.
to configure the outputs.
