5 WORKING PRINCIPLES

IQOYA X/LINK-MPX allows the following use cases:
At the studio side
● Encoding of one MPX IP stream from an analog MPX input or the digital MPX input,
● and decoding of a return IP audio stream to the analog outputs.
Note that the decoded audio is also available from the AES3 output, but at 192 kHz.
At the FM transmitter site
● Decoding of an IP MPX audio stream to the analog MPX and digital MPX outputs
● And encoding of a return IP audio stream from the analog inputs.
The two diagrams below show X/LINK-MPX used as an IP MPX encoder, and X/LINK-MPX used as an IP MPX decoder.
