Use the [ PREV][NEXT
[ENTER] button.
A screen in which you can specify the type of MIDI messages that will be transmitted
will appear.

Turn the [VALUE] dial to specify the type of MIDI messages that will be transmitted
by the CG-8, and press the [ENTER] button.
If you want the CG-8 to retransmit the incoming MIDI messages from an external MIDI
device, choose "MIDI THRU." If you want the CG-8 to transmit the MIDI messages it
generates, choose "OUT."
When you press the [ENTER] button, the setting will be applied and you will return to
the SYSTEM SETTINGS screen.
If you decide to cancel without changing this setting, use the [
buttons to select "CANCEL," then press the [ENTER] button.
