15.4 Connecting unit with PC

Select in the main menu:
The control type of the unit as well as the type of
actuating value specification are adjusted here.
The settings of the digital and analog interfaces can
be adjusted as well.
Remote control
The unit can be remote-controlled via RS232 or USB
interface. If the USB interface is selected, values such
as the internal temperature can be read out via
RS232. However, unit settings can only be adjusted
via the selected interface.
For this purpose, select the desired setting
- Off (no remote control)
- USB
- RS232
(checkmark). In the display, this is indicated in the
status line with an "R" and in the display with R-OFF.
