The metal grease filters should be cleaned at least every two months with normal use
(more frequently with intensive use) and whenever the saturation indicator alarm is

▸ Pull the deflector plate
▸ Fold down metal grease filters
the fixture.
Cleaning
▸ Clean the metal grease filters in the dishwasher. Select the «intensive» dishwasher
programme. If no dishwasher is available: Soak the grease filters in hot water and mild
detergent.
▸ Clean, rinse well with clean cold water and then wipe dry.
– Grease filters can be used again after being cleaned.
▸ Put the metal grease filters back.
▸ Reset saturation indicator alarm (see page 17).
Cleaning may cause the metal grease filters to become slightly discoloured. How-
ever, this will not affect the functioning of the filters in any way.
4.3
Long-life-Plus activated charcoal filter
The long-life-Plus activated charcoal filter should be cleaned and regenerated every 3 to
6 months with normal use and whenever the saturation indicator alarm is triggered. De-
pending on intensity of use, do not exceed 5–8 regeneration cycles. If properly cared for,
the service life of the long-life-Plus activated charcoal filter is up to three years.
