Danger!
Disconnect all power sources before making repairs. Contact
with energized electrical sources may result in serious injury or
death.
Directions:
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove interior wall and shelves, Figure 28.
3. Remove chamber floor plate from oven.
4. Disconnect heater leads from heater element with wrench (may need to
hold the nut with a second wrench). Note which wires go on which
terminals.
5. Unscrew screws holding heater frame to oven body (two #06x0.50 screws
at the right side).
6. Remove heater and discard.
7. Screw down new heater frame.
8. Attach heater leads to appropriate terminals.
9. Replace interior floor plate.
10. Replace interior wall and shelves.

7.16.3. Replacing HEPA Filter

Some of the conditions that necessitate HEPA filter replacement are listed below.
• Resistance, or pressure drop, across the filter unit. Maximum level of
resistance in inches (water gauge) will vary depending upon the operation
of the filter and the available fan capacity. Adequate fan capacity must be
available.
• Loss of efficiency (leakage) determined from air-sampling measurements
made downstream of the filter unit.
• Visible damage or rupture of the filter media in a unit.
• Change in process application.
• Excessive build-up of lint or combustible particulate matter on the filter
unit.
