User Manual
During the power-on procedure, power off the batteries immediately if any fault is
detected. Rectify the fault before proceeding with the procedure.
Fully charge batteries (the SOC must reach 100%) before using them for the first
time. Replace a battery only if it is faulty.
Step 1 Start the BCU. The status of the running indicator and fault indicator on the BCU
changes accordingly, as described in
Table 6-1 BCU indicator status change

Step 2 On the SmartLi LCD, set the language, time, date, network parameters, and
system parameters on the Settings Wizard screen, and tap Finish.
Obtain network parameters from the customer.

Single SmartLi cabinet: Hold down the POWER ON/OFF button on the BCU of
the SmartLi for more than 2s.
Multiple SmartLi cabinets are connected in parallel: Hold down the POWER
ON/OFF button on the BCU of each SmartLi for more than 2s.
Indicator Status
Running indicator (green):
blinking at short intervals (on for
0.25s and off for 0.25s)
Running indicator (green): blinks
intermittently (on for 1s and off
for 4s)
Running indicator (green): blinks
at super short intervals (on for
0.1s and then off for 0.1s)
Fault indicator (red): steady on

Description
The power button is pressed.
Standby state. The SmartLi
circuit breaker cannot be
switched on.
Standby state. The SmartLi

on. If the fault indicator is steady
red, a BCB off alarm is displayed
on the LCD of the SmartLi, and
no action is required. The alarm
will disappear after the battery
circuit breaker is switched on.
