•
Do not store batteries at low SOC. Charge batteries in time by referring to section
"Power-on and Commissioning > Recharge Requirements for Batteries with Low SOC" in
the user manual. Otherwise, batteries may be damaged due to overdischarge.
•
Before installing and commissioning batteries, prepare fire fighting facilities, such as fire
sand and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, according to construction standards and
regulations. Before putting the battery room into operation, ensure that it is equipped
with a fire extinguishing system that complies with local laws and regulations, has been
constructed and commissioned, and can work in automatic or manual control mode.

Installing a Fire Extinguisher Cylinder
1
Remove the rear cover from the cabinet.
2
Observe the pressure gauge on the cylinder.
If the pointer reading is 0 MPa, the cylinder is empty. Fill extinguishant onsite. For details,
•
see "Installation and Cable Connection > Installing a Fire Extinguisher Cylinder and
Cabinets (Without a Side Cabinet)" in the user manual.
•
If the pointer reading is greater than 1.1 MPa, the cylinder is filled with extinguishant. In
this case, go to the next step.
3
Remove the valve positioning kit, slowly open the valve, reinstall the positioning kit,
and secure it.

•
Slowly open the valve. To avoid
unexpected blowout, do not
quickly open the valve.
•
The end pressure gauge of the
cabinet is used to determine
whether the pressure of the fire
extinguisher cylinder decreases
during routine O&M inspection.

4
Observe the end pressure gauge on the front of the cabinet and record the position of
the pressure gauge pointer. 8 hours later, observe the pressure gauge again. The
position should remain unchanged. If the pressure decreases, leakage occurs. In this
case, contact technical support.
5
Reinstall the rear cover for the cabinet.
