HARDWARE LINK OPTIONS

There are 23 link options, which must be set for the required operating setup before using the evaluation board. The functions of these
options are outlined in Table 1. Shows the position in which all the links are set when the evaluation board is packaged. Jumper and
solder link (LKx) options must be set correctly to select the appropriate operating setup before using the evaluation board. The default
link positions are shown in Table 2 and the functions of these options are outlined in Table 1

Position B: Hardware input selected.
LK2 VREF Buffer Signal Selection
Position A: Unbuffered.
Position B: Buffered by U10 AD8031 Op Amp.
WR /REF EN/ DIS
LK3 Position A: Controlled by EVAL-SDP1Z.
Position B: Connected to external socket J7-2.
Position C: Connected to GND.
Position D: Connected to VDRIVE.
LK4 V1 input jumper. When inserted input is shorted to GND.
LK5 V2 input jumper. When inserted input is shorted to GND.
LK6 RANGE Selection
Position A: Connected to VDRIVE.
Position B: Connected to GND.
LK7 STBY Selection
Position A: Connected to VDRIVE.
Position B: Connected to GND.
LK8 RESET Selection
Position A: Connected to VDRIVE.
Position B: Connected to GND.
Position C: Controlled by EVAL-SDP1Z.
W /B Selection

Position A: Connected to VDRIVE.
Position B: Connected to GND.
BUSY Selection

Position A: Sourced from U5 AD780.
Position B: Sourced from U3 ADR431.
LK14 V3 input jumper. When inserted input is shorted to GND.
